Progress Park provides the only sanctioned off-leash dog run in the district. The run, adjacent to the HWY 280 onramp, is owned by Caltrans and maintained by the GBD. The GBD provides annual replacement of the park’s bark chips and other upkeep. The GBD has also improved the safety and usability of the park by adding a second entrance gate and a planter/barrier with a hedge of podocarpus along the ramp fence line.
